Occupational Therapy
Summerside Physiotherapy is very proud to now also offer Occupational Therapy consultation and treatment on site! With both your child's and your family's needs in mind, Occupational Therapy can help enhance fine motor skills such as printing or dressing, and increase independence with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, and toileting. Balance and coordination can often be improved in children with gross motor challenges. Sensory Integration Therapy is also available for children with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder. Visits can be booked at the clinic in our specialized treatment environment as a "one on one" consultation, or in combination with physiotherapy in true multi-disciplinary fashion.
